The word "ontetic" is coined by the Iranian philosopher Mahmoud Khatami. He means by this word "an over-fazzy hierarchy of 'Pure Being'". Ontetic is derived from Greek 'ontos', and Khatami calls "Ontetics" that science which is devoted to the study of the over-fazzy[tashkiki] hierarchy of 'Pure Being'.
Ontetics, the science of over-fazzy Being is not following Formal Logic (being classic or modern), but Tashkiki Logic, which Mahmoud Khatami finds it from whitin Persian Philosophy of Illumination (Ishraq). Khatami claims that the formal logic is "but a very specific state of Tashiki Logic".
The word 'ontetic' is an attribute, while 'Ontetics' is "the sceince of tashkiki Being" which is claimed to be a new attitude in philosophy (just as Hermeneutics or Existentialism etc.)
